The Windmill Event Center was established in 2019 after renovating an old farmhouse that was part of our property when we moved here to Cibolo, Texas in 2000. Five years after purchasing the initial 27.4 acres, this property of 2.6 acres became available and it joined our existing acreage, so we purchased it to give us 30 acres total.

We were told the house was 150 years old and at one time was owned by the Niemietz family.  Our understanding was that this was just a small piece of a much larger piece of property that consisted of land lining Country Lane and Tolle Road many years ago.

The house was lived in by friends for 10 years whom have since purchased their own property. At this time, we decided to convert the house into a venue and we added a couple of pavilions to host weddings, birthday parties, retirement parties, baby showers, family reunions, etc.  We wanted to stay unique to the country setting and affordable for everyone.

It was a few years in the making to get the house renovated and the pavilions built, and we still have a few things we want to do, but the facility is up and running and ready for your next gathering.
